The bathroom opposite features fine hand crafted English furniture in solid cherry wood incorporating a circular vanity basin, open shelving and miniature drawers above, whilst gently curving base-level doors conceal a washing machine, tumble-dryer and further discrete storage below.

The fire surround, dado rail and loo seat are all in matching solid cherry wood too.

The marble top surface, in Italian Crème-Marfil, a generously bevelled square mirror, solid cherry side panels, cornice, and a chrome table lamp with pleated fabric shade complete the wash basin area.

The six miniature square drawers on the right of the basin are hand-painted in blue on white Portugese porcelain and
co-ordinate perfectly with the porcelain planter-arrangement mounted behind the bath on the wall opposite.

Carefully co-ordinating accessories in deep blue and white plus selected chrome details all enhance the room's "furnished" appearance.

The open wet-shower area combines contemporary state of the art high-pressure plumbing with traditionally styled polished chrome equipment including a deluge shower head.

The large double-ended porcelain enamelled cast iron bath rests on four polished chrome feet. The chrome bath taps and spout are wall-mounted.

The bathroom walls are variously decorated with dedicated areas of broad marble tiling, deep bevelled mirror, polished sold timber panelling and with wallpaper sourced directly from France.

The bathroom radiator and chrome towel rails are set within a solid cherry-wood fire surround, above which a wall-mounted chrome picture light illuminates one of the room's five original art works.

Visually the room radiates warmth and classic elegance with space enough to stretch out and relax whilst, hidden out of sight, the latest plumbing technology ensures the most efficient washing facilities currently available…providing this bathroom with the very best of both worlds.
